Dual-Field Optics

This patented, dual-lens design expands the reading range of each Code

imager by providing two unique ﬁelds of view—high-density and a wide

angle—in one device. This technology promotes seamless reads for very

wide barcodes or very small, dense barcodes; eliminating the need to

change readers in order to change applications.

Glare Reducing Technology

Less glare, more productivity. Barcodes on shiny surfaces can reﬂect

illumination and ambient light, often rendering barcodes unreadable.

Code readers are the only 2D-area imagers in the industry equipped with

patented glare reduction technology that signiﬁcantly increases read rates

on shiny surfaces, mobile devices or curved surfaces.

The CR8000 is a miniature optical scan engine that features both a

high density ﬁeld for reading the smallest of barcodes, and a wide angle

ﬁeld for reading oversized barcodes—giving you two readers in one. With

a variety of mounting options available, including tabs, blind through

holes and mounting brackets, the CR8000 can be integrated into any

OEM device.
